Song Of The Day: Claudia Brücken – “Thank You”

As I mentioned in the post before last, I’ve been obsessed with this song by Claudia Brücken for much of the week and it shows no signs of abating any time soon. I just listened to it on repeat for another hour of light housework and had to see the video. I avoid YouTube, but I was pleased to see the director of this promo, Martin Gooch, had posted this to his Vimeo account. Since I’m always happy to embed Vimeo clips, here it is for your pleasure.

Echorich – As much as we may moan about Stephen Hague, this is just superb. I haven’t heard a production of his since P.I.L.’s “9” album, and if so much of what he has done has coincided with our favorites selling themselves short, this is a production to sit on the shelf with “True Faith” or “It Pays To Belong.”
