Music Purchases Enhanced

This is just a quick note to point out that the lengthy “Music Entering The Collection” pages are being broken up unto discrete months on the dropdowns, and each month will now display a grid of purchased covers [like shown above] to make it all more visual and interesting. I have the first five months of 2011 all completed and will work on the rest to have this be the format of the new purchases pages going forward. I have to admit, it’s great seeing every purchase quantified with a thumbnail cover. It makes me happy to see so much music with a face on it now.

In taking a good look at your 2011 purchases alone, I am amazed at how much music we have in common!! I am definitely envious of some key purchases – Black Fly Up To The Moon is one!
And Scars on 45!!! One of the most unsung of the Post Punk bands!! Author! Author! is a masterpiece!!

Echorich – You are confusing “Scars on 45,” a terrible OMD opening act ca. 2011 with “The Scars” from Scotland ca. 1980, whose “Author, Author” I need to hear …still. Scars on 45 hold Fleetwood Mac in the highest esteem and one of their awful songs liberally quoted from a Fleetwood Mac song I hated as a pre-teen.
