The REVO CEO Begins to Feed the Google Beast

This is a blog that I’m beginning to stand as separate from my REVO catalog of projects. This will be populated by my writing about music primarily from the post-punk period (78-85) of my greatest interests. I did have some tentative blogging last year at my catalog site, but the miserly 10 MB that I got from my ISP for an account was used up pretty fast. Eventually I will need to buy a domain and pay for hosting if I can wrap my cheapskate head around the concept any time soon. With a plethora of CD remasters (possibly the last of our time) staring me in the face, I don’t know where I’ll find the funding to do this. So until that day, this will be my place to write about music.

I’d like to take the freedom to write about other topics as I see fit, but blogging is so “focused” now that I’d hate to dilute the PPM “brand.” Does anyone have any suggestions to the contrary? Feel free to weigh in. I will moderate comments and only check for them once a day, if that, so have some patience. The only guaranteed free time I have to write is during my lunch hour at work, so you’ll be doing good to get two posts a week from me. I’ll start in earnest later today, but for now this is just my brief introduction.

I think you should write about whatever you feel like writing about, I wouldn't worry so much about "tainting the brand" – most of it will be music related as part of the natural order anyway.I for one am happy about this move, not only because now your postings will be more organized and searchable but because I'm always losing track of the REVO website, and between a major sunglasses manufacturer and the tons of other music-oriented wannabe sites using the word "revo" it's a nightmare to locate using da interwebs!Bert
